Overview

Reviews is for the slow, careful work of comparing a vendor or contractor submission against your project specifications and standards. You upload the submission; you point at the controlling documents; the AI produces a clause-by-clause comparison with comments and a status (compliant, partial, non-compliant, not addressed).

The output is a comments table you can hand back to the vendor or attach to an RFI. The AI is doing the first pass; you make the final calls.

When to use it

  • Tender evaluations where multiple vendors must be scored against the same spec.
  • Submittal reviews on a live project.
  • Standards audits — comparing existing documentation against a new revision of a standard.

How it works

1. Upload the submission

One or many documents. PDF, DOCX, XLSX. The AI extracts the structure and the claims.

2. Point at the standards

Pick the controlling documents from the Register or Knowledge Base. These are the source of truth the submission is being measured against.

3. Run the comparison

The AI walks the standard clause by clause and looks for a corresponding statement in the submission. The result is a table: clause, expected, found, status, comment.

4. Review and export

Edit the AI's status calls where you disagree. Export to Excel for the formal comments register, or push directly into an RFI.

Tips

  • Run the review against one standard at a time — bundling kills traceability.
  • Always edit the AI's comment column; treat it as a starting draft, not a final answer.
  • Keep the standards in the Knowledge Base up to date; the comparison is only as good as what it is comparing against.
