Overview
Meetings turns a raw transcript (from Teams, Zoom, Otter, or a typed file) into the documents you actually want — formal minutes in Word and an action items register in Excel. It identifies decisions, attributes actions to attendees, and produces a clean summary at the top.
Action items can be promoted to Tasks in one click, with the assignee and due date already filled in. Decisions can be filed against the relevant RFI or document.
When to use it
- Weekly progress meetings where minutes are required but no one wants to write them.
- Design reviews where decisions need to be captured and tracked.
- Workshops with multiple participants and a long action list at the end.
How it works
1. Upload a transcript
Paste text or drop a file (.vtt, .srt, .txt, .docx). Speaker labels help; they are not required.
2. Set context
Pick the meeting type (kick-off, progress, review) and the project. The AI uses this to choose the right minutes template.
3. Generate
You get back: a formatted minutes document, an action items spreadsheet, and a list of decisions linkable to project artefacts.
4. Promote actions to tasks
Tick the action items you want tracked; they appear in Tasks with assignee and due date carried across.
Tips
- Better speaker labels in the transcript = better minutes. Five minutes spent renaming "Speaker 2" to "Sarah" pays off.
- Promote actions on the day, not the week after — context decays fast.
- For sensitive meetings, redact the transcript before upload; the system has no way to know what should not be in the minutes.
